An Evening of Food and Drink, featuring San Francisco's best restaurants and bars

Now in its eighth year, Taste of Potrero has become San Francisco’s premier celebration of great food and drink. Over 10,000 attendees have enjoyed unlimited bites crafted by the city’s best restaurants and bars, with all profits benefiting public Daniel Webster Elementary School.

The brainchild of past DW PTA fundraising chair Adam Zolot, TOP was launched in 2011 in an effort to put the fun back in fundraising by bringing the SF community together to enjoy and celebrate the phenomenal chefs, bartenders, restaurants and tremendous generosity we have in our midst.

TOP has continued to grow to meet the expanding needs of Daniel Webster; in spite of the appearance of economic recovery, the school continues to suffer from budget shortfalls on the most basic level, including classroom books and instructional materials.

Through TOP we can ensure that all of our school’s children (including more than 50% in serious
economic need), have the instruction, basic tools, services and materials necessary to receive the
high-quality education they deserve.

It takes a huge amount of time, effort and generosity to make this event what it is. But we all agree that it is such a deserving cause, and such a great event, that it is well worth it.

So come join the most delicious school fundraiser in San Francisco—and raise a glass to local education.
